Describing where you live

Person 1: Hi, where do you live?

Person 2: I live in a small town called Maplewood. It’s located in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful green hills and forests.

Person 1: That sounds lovely. I live in a big city called New York. It’s always busy and there’s always something to do.

Person 2: That sounds exciting. I like the peace and quiet of living in a small town, but I also enjoy visiting big cities for the hustle and bustle.

Person 1: Yeah, it’s nice to have a change of pace sometimes. What kind of house do you live in?

Person 2: I live in a single-family home with a big backyard. It’s a two-story house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Person 1: That sounds nice. I live in an apartment in a high-rise building. It’s small but it’s in a great location and has a great view of the city.

Person 2: That sounds like a great place. I like the idea of having a view of the city.

Person 1: Yeah, it’s definitely one of the perks of living in a big city.
